Previous Versions Client

When I attempt to install the Previous Versions Client on
a 2000 Pro system with SP4, I get the message "The
previous versions client can be installed only on Windows
XP or future OS Versions" The Previous Versions Client is
listed under Add & Remove Programs but will not uninstall
with out the same error. Can you Help?

I suspect that the client added itslef to Add & Remove before it realized it
wasn't supported on the current OS. The uninstaller launches the same setup
program, and it too realises it's on the wrong platform.
