previous pages keep disappearing

The pages that I have linked from disappear. I have gone
to: Tools>internet options>advanced>reuse Windows for
launching
shortcuts>uncheck, and this worked for a while, but now
the computer is doing it again. Is there something else I
can do? I am so sick of this computer mucking up. Should I
just go back to defaults?

you could try reseting internet explorer to defaults tools options advanced then reset to default it might help
