Previous desktop and other settings

Hi everyone,
i've edited the computers name and domain name frome WORKGROUP to something
else. After restarting, my desktop looks like when first installed. How to
restore it to the previous looks and settings, like restoration in WindowXP?

If you change it back to the old workgroup name and log
in, it will return. It's a profile thing. So, you could
copy the old desktop and favorites/documents etc from the
old profile to the new.
