preview prob. w/FrontPg 2000

software: Frontpage 2000
pc system: Win98, 2nd version
256 MB RAM, 14GB hard
IE 5.5

This is my first attempt at webpage builing. I put up a
page, using FrtPg's own color backgrounds and it was fine.
Yet when I tried to use a background downloaded from
another site(a jpeg that I had to convert to a gif), my
page shows up in my working window, and the html shows,
but I absolutely cannot get anything to show up
in "preview".

I don't have this problem with FrtPg's background colors.
Can anyone help? I've been trying every I can for three
days, now. Thank you, alix

You would have to import the image into your web site, and have the web site
opened when adding the image to the page.
