Preview pane malfunction

Two Questions: 1) When I receive new emails while Outlook 2002 has been open,
a dialog box appears asking if I would like to read the new message. Is
there a way to stop this message from popping up?
2) Let me say that my preview pane is activated when viewing email messages.
When I receive new emails, after the dialog box from question 1 above, the
message appears in my inbox and has the correct subject and header
information (from, to, etc). But when I click on the message, the preview
pane is blank, the "To:" field says "On behalf of <sender> instead of just
<sender>, and the message is Autopreviewed, although I have Autopreview off.
After clicking on the new message, I must then click on another message and
then back to the new one in order for the preview pane to show the body of
the email. How can I fix this problem? Thanks for reading. Mikey

1) Tools-> Options-> E-mail Options... (might even be under Advanced E-mail
Options...)

2a) Do you have all updates installed for Outlook 2002? If you are running a
virus scanner that integrates with Outlook disable this integration and try
again.

2b) If the message is send On Behalf Of by the sender Outlook will display
it like that. You can't change that.

2c) Reset your view; View-> Current View-> Customize Current View-> Reset
Current View
