Preventing users from creating tables, modifying forms

Hi,

Using Access 2002, I have a database that 4-5 users are going to use. What I
need to accomplish is to prevent them from creating tables, modifying forms,
add queries, etc... on their own. They, of course, can add, delete, edit data
through the formsalready there. They should not have any access (xcuse the
pun) to any design window; I have already hidden the database window, but I
think that's not enough.

Any help with this will be much appreciated.

Thanks.

You need to disable 'back door' methods of unhiding the db window (F7 (I
think) and the <Shift> 'bypass' key). I'm sure a Google search will reveal
all.

You then need to apply user-level security. This is not a trivial task,
even for those who are practiced at it. Familiarise yourself with the
methods in the MS FAQ:

faq.asp>

It's "all killer and no filler" so make sure you (a) follow all steps to
the letter and (b) back up your files before you start as it's easy to lock
yourself out.

Once you're happy with the FAQ have a look at the step-by-step guide on my
web site.
