Preventing meeting responses from appearing in your Inbox

Paul Ponzelli

Sometimes I send out a meeting announcement to a large group of people
without needing to know exactly who is going to accept or decline, but since
it's a large group, I don't want to get a flurry of emails from the
respondees.

I realize I could just send an email to the group announcing the meeting,
but I'd like to make it easy for everyone to get the meeting in their
calendar, by simply clicking the "Accept" button, instead of having to open
the Calendar and create the appointment from scratch.

Is there a way to set a property when I'm planning a meeting so that the
responses don't come back to the organizer as email?

Thanks in advance,

Paul

Indeed, there is such a property, and you can toggle it off and on with the Request Responses command on the Actions menu. You might have to click the double-chevron at the bottom of the menu to display that command.
