Prevent access from rounding data inputted from excel

I inputted a great deal of data from excel that was formatted to show 3
decimal places. Access shows 5 for 5.000 and 3.62 for 3.620 - for example.
I have tried changing properties in design and form view as well as trying to
make changes to the properties in the table field list. My changes in the
table field lost cannot be saved because I get a message that I have assigned
too many fields - total fields equals 110.
 
Change the FORMAT to "fixed" and the Decimal Palces to "3", then your number
will display the way you indicated.
