Prettier video controls?

Hi,
I'm importing short .wmv videos into FP2003.
If I just place on a page users have very little control - can I place
"play" and "stop" buttons on the page that refer to the context sensitive
menu controls?

The alternative is to use the WMP Active X control but that has large blue
controls which mess up the "arty" video! - perhaps there is a way to
"autohide" those controls?
