This is supposed to open the DB with full menus but for some reason it does
not. I am trying to open a DB created in Access 2000 in Access 2003. I had
the "Allow full menus" option un-ticked but now I have Office 2003 I cant
edit my application. Please Help

Paul,

Do a Google search for "disable shift bypass" (with quotes). This should
give you some insight to what may be happening. I also have a utility that
either disables or enables ShiftBypass for Microsoft Access
applications--left it at work. I'll check back tomorrow night.

Good luck,

Todd

Thanks Todd,
I've managed to open the DB in Access 2000 again and reset the Full menus.
Then go back to 2003. That utility would be handy though if you have a URL
for it...?

Paul,

I found the utility at work today; however, I couldn't find it on the web--I
even tried to Google for it, and it was nowhere to be found. If you're still
interested in the utility, you can send me an e-mail at
tshillamATcomcast.net (replace AT with @ symbol).

Best regards,

Todd
