Pressing "new email" causes "program addressing address book" warning

Ric

I am using Outlook XP on Windows 2000. My system is virus free.

If I want to write a new email, I press the "new email" button in Outlook,
and I get that warning message "A program is trying to access your address
book - do you wish to continue, Yes/No". I have to tick the ""allow for one
minute", then "Yes" before I can write an email.

Can anybody please tell me how to fix this annoyance.

1) Don't use Word as your email editor.
2) Remove the Outlook Add-in that's causing the conflict (often PDFMaker
from Adobe).

Thanks - but you missed out another solution:
3) Stop using Outlook and get a better thrid party email client that is
fully compatible with other software
