Preparing to Install

Everytime I start Outlook 2002 a screen Windows Installer / Preparing to
install comes on and later "Please wait while windows configures MS Office
XP" and system runs for a while, but no changes made. If I click Detect and
Repair I get message to wait for other installation procedure finishes.
What's up? What is being installed??

Sounds like something got damanged. Are you logged on as a user or as an
administrator? If as an admin insert the CD and choose a repair and then
reapply Service pack 3 and additional updates.
