Preinstalling SP4

Can you put sp4 in I386 dir and it will be installed
Automatically. Seems like i heard that once. What exactly
are the steps? Thankyou

Yes, this is called slipstreaming. This MS Knowledge Base article describes
how to do, even if it only mentions SP1:
