I would like to know if there is any option in word to predict a word we are
typing before we type, Please let me know

Graham,

Isn't that scheduled to be a feature in Word 14? I think it's called
'Kreskin'... <g> (See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kreskin)

Actually, manju, Word _does_ have this feature now - sort of - in the form
of AutoComplete and AutoText. With this feature, if you type the first few
letters of certain words, Word gives you the option to press the Enter key
and have the word inserted automatically. But it doesn't read your mind and
"know" what you want to type before you actually type anything; some user
intervention is required.

So in the strictest interpretation of your question, Graham's answer is
correct, and I would answer the same. (In fact, I just did.) However, if I
look into Suzanne's crystal ball... ;-P

Hi Manju,

Could you clarify what kind of scenario you would have in mind? Why would
you want such a feature?

Thanks,

It certainly seems reasonable that if cell phones have predictive texting
technology, Word should be able to provide it, but I don't actually foresee
this in Word 14.
