I have not got the worm as of yet, what are some
suggestion that will ensure that the worm will not hit my
system?

3. Use a third party firewall or activate XP's own Internet Connection
Firewall.
4. Adopt safe computing practices.

You will not be infected by *any* virus, Trojan or worm.
