PPT Video Requires 2 Clicks

Guest

I am using a PPT 2003 with videos. While the video is running I click the
slide to advance and instead of advancing it stops the video. Then a click
will advance the slide. Also when I set the slide to advance after X seconds
it only works for slides without videos. Is there a setting I missed or it
just the way it works?

Thanx for any help

This is because the playing video has the "focus" of the mouse and keyboard.

Correct, PPT can not advance automatically until everything (video, music,
animations, etc.) on the slide have completed.
