Ppt 97 to 2003. Image timing problems

I've created a number of Powerpoint 97 presentations,
using numerous images sequentially appearing on a page
and staying put until the next slide appears.

When I open the presentation in Ppt 2003, the images
appear, but will not 'stay' visible; they just flash.

What am I missing? Any ideas please?

Have you installed Service Pack 1 for Office 2003? Go to Help > Check for
Updates and follow the links.

What animation settings did you use in PPT 97? (I'm betting there's a "hide
after mouse click" in there...)

The animation timings are handled differently in PPT 2003, so you will
probably need to reset those.
