PPT 2003 - Rolling Out Corporate Design Format Template to Organiz

We have standardized a template in PPT 2003 using our corporate design format
(created by our ad agency). However, there are several issues after rolling
out to the entire company:
1. Employees who have old presentations (with old design formats) re-save
these presentations for their present use, just changing the content but not
reapplying the design.
2. Employees are still changing fonts (type and size) and positioning of
content on the pages, as well as charts, as there seems to be no way to lock
anything down.

Questions: Is there a macro that would search for existing ppt
presentations on computers and change to the new corporate design format? Is
there a way of locking formatting so that employees cannot change it?

Thank you.

There are ways of making it easier for users to do what you want them to and of
making it a bit harder for them not to do what you don't want them to, but it
basically requires cooperative users. If they're determined to do it their own
way, they will.

Even if you lock down a system pretty thoroughly, some clever soul will realize
that their HOME PC lets them do whatever they like.

That said, we do have a product that makes it much more likely that users do
what you'd like them to; I'd be happy to explain more about it ... email steve
at-sign pptools dot com for more info if interested.
