ppt 2000 - sound, played on ppt 2003 no sound, why?

I am trying to play a ppt presentation written in ppt office 2000, on a PC
loaded with ppt 2003 - but can't get any sound to play. Is there a known
problem?
 
Make sure that you have all the upgrade patches installed for PowerPoint
2003
