PPT 07 - Video clip causes app to shutdown

I having trouble with larger video clips inserted into slide in PPT 2007
causing the app to consistently shut down. Very frustrating. Any advice out
there?

Couple of thoughts, first you may want to look at this tutorial explaining
how PPT plays video.

Second, you might want to install the PFCPro trial version to correct the
issues. (The video will continue to work after you remove the trial.)

As to what is causing it, I suspect its an improperly matched codec or the
file has a marker of some sort that the MCI player doesn't understand what
to do with.
