PP2007 beta screen capture don't display in 97-2003 compat mode

I'm using PP 2007 beta, I use Snagit 8 to capture screen shots and save them
to the clipboard. I then paste these onto a PowerPoint slide. This works fine
when using Office 2007 beta, however when I save the presentation as a
97-2003 compatible slide show (PPS or PPT) when the presentation is opened in
PPxp or
PP2003 the captured screen shots display as a blue box.

If I right click on the captured image and save as picture in the PNG
format, delete the image and insert picture that was saved it displays
correctly.

Any thoughts??

Yes, send me a presentation with one such slide in PPT and PPTX format
please via email. You can get my email address from my website. Sounds
like a bug that I'd like to submit to Microsoft.

This seems to be a bug. The workaround is to use Picture Tools, Reset
Picture on every single screen capture. Then the image displays
correctly when opened in PPT 2003.
