PP 2007 slide master question

I've modified the text in a master sub slide. I should have modified the
master top-slide.

Now the master sub slide will not follow the master text size. I've got two
master slides I need to adjust text size on.

How to I tell the master sub-slide to follow the master text size once
again?
 
You might be able to use "reset" on the Home tab, but I'm not sure.

Oh, no, it's greyed out.

Okay, what I would do is open a new blank presentation, go to master view,
copy the appropriate layout (the "little masters" are called Slide Layouts),
and paste it into master view in your file. Then I'd delete the problem
layout.

I know that's clunky, but I can't find a way to "reset" or add existing
placeholders back to a slide layout. You can always add a placeholder, of
course, but somehow I think I prefer to leave the existing placeholders on
the existing slide layouts....
