I've read several posts on the processes needed to convert PowerPoint
Presentations to DVD. I D/L a trial version of the Wondershare program called
PowerPoint2DVD and it seemed to work well to convert my files, and then I
used another program to burn the DVD. (I didn't read the instructions
carefully and got a blank DVD the first time.) Has anyone else used this
program successfully. Unfortunately, they do not guarantee their program or
the condition of the disks if you order them and I find this a little
disconcerting. Is Microsoft planning a similar program?

MS wouldn't announce their plans here so we don't know. We're all just PPT
users and/or volunteers here, not MS employees.

As far as the software you mentioned is concerned, all we know is that they
regularly and persistently spam this newsgroup from anonymous email addresses.
So far I don't recall anyone having posted here to say that the software
actually works (though several people have said that it didn't work for them).

I'd read the instructions carefully, maybe give it another try but if it doesn't
work, I would assume that the registered version doesn't either. That's what
demos are for, after all.

PowerPoint2DVD is a shareware to let you have free trial before buy it,
so what else you want them to guarantee? No software has no bugs, can
Microsoft guarantee that your OS will never get hung?

You said that PowerPoint2DVD seemed to work well to convert your files,
and PPT MVP Steve Rindsberg said "it didn't work", will you believe
yourself or others before you make a decision whether to perchase?

If you just wanna get more comments of this program from other people,
you can google "PowerPoint2DVD comment", i think you will find tons of
what you need from the serps.

Now now. I said no such thing.

Quote accurately or don't quote, but don't lie about what other people have or
haven't said. It reflects badly on your own honesty.
