powerpoint

When I hook my laptop up to a powerpoint projector, I have no audio. When I
go to control panel/sound devices, I am not able to highlight or change
anything. Any Suggestions?
 
Are you trying to run audio from the projector or are you saying when you
connect the projector the speakers on your PC stop working?
