PowerPoint wont work

I can't get powerpoint to work, when i click on it it says that it is not
installed so i downloaded powerpoint viewer but it still wont work i now get
an error message which says it failed to initialize properly

When you click on what, exactly?

Have you tried inserting your Office CD and rerunning Setup to make sure that
PowerPoint is installed? What version of Office do you have? Some don't
include PowerPoint.
