I've been doing a school project using Microsoft Powerpoint Presentation, and
im almost done with some pages half done and a few more adjustments and such,
but my Powerpoint wont let me do anything to fix or add or anything. I tried
creating a new one but again it wont let me. My project is due tomorrow and
now i don't know what to do! I've been working on it for ages. Any help
please?

Hi,

Happy to help if we can. Which PowerPoint version? For example, 2007 allows
you to finalize a presentation that prevents some editing. Do you have that
version? Else, what is happening specifically? Any error messages?

Yes it is 2007. No error messages are comming up, it just wont let me do
anything. I can't click on a picture to move it, text, add images, it wont
let me do anything. I think i may have accidently clicked publish but then
clicked cancel. But as i said, it's not letting me make a new presentation
either.

Hi,

Try this:

Microsoft Office button | Prepare| Mark as Final button. Does that fix it,
or are you asked if you want to save it and Mark as Final?

Hi,

Does the file still have a ppt or pptx extension (at the end of the file
name)?

Are you able to email me the file for me to look at? Up to about 15
megabytes?

If running diagnostics, as Michael suggested, doesn't fix it, then I'd start
to suspect that it needs to be activated. It's unusual for things to be
greyed out and especially to be prevented from creating a new blank
presentation.

You might try Office Button | PPT Options | Resources | Activate.
