PowerPoint--way to see notes on laptop, not on projection?

is there a way to see the presentation and speaker's notes on my laptop while
only showing the presentation on the projector (for pc users)?

Appropriate hardware needs to be present on the laptop (which is usually
there nowadays). Look at http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00476.htm for
details on multi-monitor configurations.

After the multi-monitor hardware is configured, you can use the Presenter
View (select "Slide Show" | "Set Up Show..." menu item, check "Show
Presenter View" box, click OK) to view notes on the laptop and slide show
through the projector.
