Powerpoint to TV DVD

I have a relative using PowerPoint 2003 on Windows XP. He has created a very
large (600 slides, 350 mb) slide show of a vacation trip taken by his family.
He also has music playing in the background of the entire slide show that is
coming from a variety of linked music files.

He wants to take the entire slide presentation, including music, and "burn"
it to a DVD that he can then put in his home entertainment DVD player (i.e.,
not a DVD player in his computer) and automatically play the slide show on
his television.

Is this possible and if so how? Is there any third party software that can
do this?

Thanks.

Please ignore my message. Like an idiot, I saw another post with a similar
question right after I posted. Shame on me. :)

No worries, Jerry.

Good luck with it. And here I thought my grandpa went a little nuts with the
ol' 35mm slide shows. :)

Yep, it is very easy if you use PowerPoint2DVD to do it, just have a
detailed look at
http://www.powerpoint-to-dvd.com
You'll find the very application you are looking for.
