Powerpoint sometimes doesn't print charts

Nana Kitteh

I am having a problem with Powerpoint. I use Powerpoint a lot and sometimes (usually when I use it for a couple of hours at a stretch) some of the charts don't print. Everything else will print, but there will be a handful of charts that don't print and just leave a big blank in the middle of my printout. I'll go back to my computer and they will be on the slides, but not on the hardcopy. If I print it again, they will usually still be missing. If I reboot, it usually fixes it for a while. Help! I need to be able to use PP for work.

I would make sure you have the latest printer drivers.

You can also try going into PPT Options and turning off background printing.
If yours is a version of PPT that has "high quality printing" as an option,
try selecting that.
