powerpoint slides

I am creating a powerpoint presentation, but I have a question...

One the slide, I have a question and answer, how do I only reveal the
question and then hit return to reveal the answer... How do I make it only
show the question at first?

This is done through Custom Animation. The details depend on which version
of PowerPoint you are using and whether the question and answer are in
separate text boxes or the same text box. Try clicking on the shape with
the answer and choosing Custom Animation from the Slide Show menu. If you
are using PowerPoint 2002 or above, set an Entrance Effect. That should get
you started.
