Joanne, did you save your PowerPoint presentation as another file format?
Did you save as a PDF, or a picture format? If that's the case, PowerPoint
just created a new file from your existing file and that should be still
available in its original location -- and you can edit that file. On the
other hand, I may have not understood your question -- can you rephrase and
ask it again with more details?
Just right click your powerpoint slideshow file > then choose the
"new" option> you will go back to PowerPoint presenation edit
condition.
