PowerPoint Show not working?

Maybe I don't understand what this save type is supposed to do but I
had hoped that when opened this would go right into full-screen slide
show with all my hyperlinks intact. From what I see, it is no
different then PowerPoint Presentation.

Is there a format that *will* open up as a full-screen slide show with
all buttons/links intact and not the menu/ribbons/sidebar?

Thanks in advance!

Saving as a PowerPoint Show is supposed to do what you want. If it isn't
doing what you want, then check out this entry from the PPT FAQ for
information about how to fix it:

Hi CNCF,

A PowerPoint Slide Show *IS* a presentation. The only difference between
these is that the Show should begin in the show mode instead of the edit
mode.

If the show (or presentation) has been told to open in a window, you will
get the behavior you are describing. Look under the SlideShow Setup
settings and make sure that the "Presented by a Speaker (Full screen)"
option is checked in the Show Type area of the dialog box.
