Powerpoint should have layers!!!!!

I love to use powerpoint! I use it all the time for presentations and
graphics for work. I do find at times I would love to have layers. It is hard
when you have a lot of shapes layered on top of eachother to control them.
The bring to front command is not always just as simple as that. It would be
great to turn off some of the layers and edit something that is behing and
then turn on the stuff in front again. I have talked with a few people and we
think this would be great. Especially since photoshop had that option. Please
think about this for the next verison!!!

Ummm, slides are layers, sort of. Instead of trying to put so much on one
slide, break it in to multiple slides that transition from one to the next.

I'd love "real layers" too!

While we wait a couple of tips that help my work:

Install the select "multiple objects tool" on a toolbar (use customize) it
helps especially if you use a tip from Echo S -> in format objects use the
web tab to add alt text. This text (name) will show up when you use the
"select multiple" command and really helps to work out what's what.

Did that answer the question / help?
