Powerpoint problem with registry setting

Hi All

When i try to open some old powerpoint files i now get an error message
saying "You are arrempting to open a file type tha is blocked by your
registry policy setting". As far as i know i have not changed anything in
the registry. I am using powerpoint 2003 and have been for years - without
any problems. Any ideas?

See if this helps:
"You are attempting to open a file type that is blocked by your registry
policy setting" (or "attempting to save a file")

Sounds like the SP3 issue to me...
