Thanks Sonia for your reply. I went to the site that you suggested and that
looks great. One problem, I only had one personal project to do and that is
a lot to pay for a one time deal. I guess I am going to have to re-think the
whole project in general.
There is also Media Encoder which is free, but it is not easy to use. Frankly,
whatever you use I think you will be disappointed with the results. Unless you
have a DVD recorder, the image quality and smoothness will be greatly inferior
to what you see on a computer monitor.
For another easier way to convert your ppt to mpeg2, you can try this
software: PowerPoint2DVD at http://www.powerpoint-to-dvd.com
It not only converts ppt to mpeg, but also burn it onto DVD or miniDVD.
