Powerpoint Presentation: from Internet to Powerpoint

Can you open a Powerpoint presentation from an internet
browser to Microsoft Powerpoint without having to
download it or open it through winzip? Or can you only
open a single template to Microsoft Powerpoint from an
internet browser?

Or is it a whole other thing, such as the way the
presentation or template is programmed onto the website?

Anything that you access from the Internet has to be downloaded to your
system so that it can be processed and displayed. If it is a zipped file it
is downloaded and you have to unzip it. If it is a presentation, it will be
downloaded and opened in PowerPoint, so you aren't as aware of the
downloading.
