PowerPoint Movie Plays After Click, Back-Click then Click

My PowerPoint 2007 videos will play properly in my presentation but only
after I've clicked on the movie slide, then click back to the previous slide,
then click BACK on the movie slide. After all this clicking, the movie will
finally automatically play on the movie slide. Not very impressive for the
audience though. Any reason why I have to click, click back, then click
again for it to work properly?
