Powerpoint Freezes when downloading from online clipart

Every time I try and download a clipart (WMF format) from the Microsoft site
my Powerpoint freezes up. I can use jpeg and gif. Any ideas what causes
this. I have tried going to other spots for the clipart but the microsoft
spot is so good I would like to use it.

Why not download the WMF file by itself, and then insert it into PowerPoint
