I am trying to find a way to incorporate an exit button into my slides that
will allow the user to close down Powerpoint viewer when activated. I can't
get a hyperlink commnd to do this. Can anyone suggest how to do this? Thanks

I need to make this a little clearer, From within a main menu slide in the
show I link to other PPS shows. When I am through those, i want to be able to
close those and jump back to the main menu. The "end" hyperlink does not jump
back to the main menu. How can I do this?

Do you mean you have tried inserting a button or image on your slide,
right-clicked the object and selected "Action Settings", clicked the
"Hyperlink to" dropdown and selected "End Show"? What exactly did you do?
What happens?

An End Show action setting will close the current show; if you linked to it
from another show, it'll return you to whatever slide you were on when you
activated the link. If that's the menu slide, you're good to go.

Thanks. Sory for the long time to reply but I had to go on a business trip.
Got everything to work the way I wanted. did not realize that the original
screen was overlayed by the new one, and when you cloe it you are back. works
great ow. Thanks.
