When I attempt to view a slideshow created in PP 2000 the slides will not fit
on the screen. I checked the video card and while it will support 2 monitors
- the second is disabled and not even hooked up. Screen resolution is
1024x768 and the pc is a laptop.

Are you displaying to a projector, or just on the laptop itself?

Just to the screen on the laptop at this time. Previously it was displaying
fine on the laptop but receintly it started to display only part of the
screen.

Strange.

This is out of my area of expertise, but until someone else pops in, I'd
suggest updating your video drivers. I'm wondering if your current one is
corrupt or has had a DLL overwritten or something.

What's the brand and model of the computer?
It sounds like the native resolution of the panel could be 800x600 (SVGA).
That's the first guess.

.................TD

Make is Dell - Model is Latitude D600 - running in native display mode of
1024x768 -Samsung 14.1 in display running video drivers - ATI Radeon Mobility
9000 drivers

Followup - downloaded video driver update from Dell. Installed - corrected
the problem.
