I just bought the upgrade version of power point 2003 because my MS Office
didn't come with it. I installed everything as directed, so I started a
presentation for one of my classes, did save as to save it up to that point,
and closed the application. Now when I try to open the file (which has a
powerpoint icon on it and is in .ppt format) power point tells me that it
can't read the file. So I started all over, and the same thing happened
again. I tried the detect and repair feature on the help menu but it didn't
make any difference. Please help. Thanks. T

Okay, I tried that but it's asking me to put in my Microsoft Office Disc,
which I don't have, so it won't complete the updates.
