Powerpoint 97 Viewer Uninstall Problem

D

DDB

I installed the 2003 powerpoint viewer on my WinXP system. It works fine.
I then tried to Uninstall powerpoint viewer 97. The uninstall failed. I
get Object ID 324 331 332 350 and "failed to load hlinkprx.dll" messages. I
tried reinstalling powerpoint viewer 97 but the installer only gives me the
option to remove the current installation, then repeats the error messages
gives above.
Any help would be appreciated.

You do not need the Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer 97 unless you need to view Microsoft PowerPoint 95
presentations (which the Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer 2003 does not support).

If you are viewing Microsoft PowerPoint 97 or later presentations, you should download and install the
Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer 2003.

Here are some helpful links.

As far as your Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer 97 problem, all I could find was this (searching for "hlinkprx.dll"
