PowerPoint 2003 Upgrade?

I have just upgraded from Office XP to Office 2003. My
PowerPoint presentation that has embedded .AVI no longer
play. I hear the sound, however no video. I can play
these files fine with Windows Media Player. Any thoughts?

(Note: I ran the Office 2003 Update as I saw a related
article with no luck)
