Powerpoint 2003 .ppt files crash on other computers

Hello,
I'm using Powerpoint 2003 at work to create presentations, and I can
use and open every .ppt file I want on my computer. No problem. But
whenever I try to open one of my presentations (.ppt) on an other
computer than mine, Powerpoint crashes (I tried with Powerpoint XP and
2003). That happens with every single presentation I create: big ones
with pictures and small ones with only text in it.
And yes, I applied all the latest Office and WinXP patches -- on my
machine and on the others -- but it doesn't help. I suspect a virus but
Symantec AntiVirus 10 doesn't detect anything.

Please help me, I've never seen anything like this. Thank you.

I wonder if Symantec's antivirus is actually the problem here? Can you try
disabling it and see if that helps? Actually, you might have to do more than
disable it, though. See Norton Anti-Virus and Office

Do you get any error messages when PPT crashes?

What's in your presentations? Are they just plain text, or are there images,
sounds, videos, clipart, Excel data/charts, Word files, PDFs, anything else
interesting?
