I have two computers that I have recently upgraded to office 2003 and now
when they insert a chart into a slide the spaceing or (kerning) of the text
is overly spaced out.

When they send it to another desktop and they open it, they see the same
issue but open up format font and change nothing and close it it the issue is
resolved.

the two desktops that are haveing the issue also have adobe acrobat 6.0 and
7.0 installed on them. The desktops that are not having the issue do not
have adobe acrobat installed.

Issue is only happening in the insert chart function.

i have preformed a repair install on office to no avail
i have installed all TT fonts from my desktop no avail
i have uninstalled adobe and searched for updates - no avail

Weird. If these are XP boxes, can you rollback to before installing Acrobat
then re-install Office 2003?

They are XP Boxes and They did have Office 2K on before with acrobat and were
working fine

Problem arose after upgrading to Office 2k3 but only on those that had
acrobat

I have similar problems with kerning. It happens in edit mode (or insert) and
it is specific to office 2003. I also have acrobat pro 6, but had these
issues prior to installation of same.

Sorry, I do not have a solution.

You might try looking at the "using dashes" thread, 04.04.05 original post,
regarding similar issues.

OK. But what about my question? Can you roll back to a point before Acrobat was
installed then go forward from there.
