PowerPoint 2002 Versions?

mark

When I took my powerpoint presentation home the fonts came
out in wingding; it did not support technibold. Also the
powerpoint at home does not allow animation inside within
a slide, only the whole slide.

Both the powerpoint at work and home are 2002 xp---so what
is the problem? Are there different versions and is there
a fix so my home powerpoint is compatible w/my work
version?

thanx

Sounds like your home computer doesn't have technibold installed on it.

If the font allows it, you could save the file with fonts embedded at work.
Choose Tools, Options and on the Save tab, put a checkmark next to Embed
TrueType Fonts (assuming technibold is a TT font ... if not, all bets are
off)

Then I'd choose "Embed all characters".

If the font doesn't allow embedding, you'll get a message when you save.

Alternative: if the font license permits, install the font on your home
computer.

Also the
powerpoint at home does not allow animation inside within
a slide, only the whole slide.

I'll let one of our animated animation gurus take on this one, but it might
help if you described the problem in more specific terms. Thanks.
