Powerpoint 2000 won't open in 2003

Can anyone help please Powerpoint presentation created in 2000 when being
sent to users via email users with 2003 it won't allow them to open it comes
up with the following information message: 'PowrPoint can't open because part
of the file is missing'

Yes - but note its the 2003 users who need to do this. Heres the microsoft
