Powerpoint 2000 slide resolution

Is there anyway to change the slide show resolution in PowerPoint 2000?

We still have this old version in our office and it does the job for what we
have needed. But now we need to format slides in a different resolution. I
have found how to do it for PP2002, 2003 and 2007 with slideshow, setup, etc.
but nothing for 2000

Thanks

Powerpoint 2000 does not have the ability to set the resolution on a per
presentation or per session basis.

Powerpoint 2000 takes its display resolution from whatever your current
'desktop' (for windows) resolution is currently set at.

so if you set your desktop to 800x600 then powerpoint will use that. Set it
to 1024x768 and powerpoint will use that.
