Powerpoint 2000 Installation

I am trying to re-install powerpoint 2000 on my system and it won't take. I
can't do anything with Powerpoint Viewer. What is wrong?
I insert the disc and it just will not install.
 
Sounds like you're expecting magic just by inserting the CD.

Sometimes that works, but not always.

In Explorer, look on that CD for a file named "setup.exe" or "install.exe."

It would probably be in the topmost, or root, directory.

If you find one, doubleclick on it, and the install process should begin.

Otherwise, follow Dave Patrick's advice.
