PowerDVD error Severe:launch ASPI error

When I try to install PowerDVD I receive this error from
Win XP......SEVERE launch ASPI error? Anybody have a clue
as to what might be causing this error?

I have the same problem (PowerDVD 3.0). It used to work until
reinstalled XP Pro after installing a new HD. The only thing diferen
this time is the fact that SP1A is installed instead of SP1 (X
update). I have sent a message to CyberLink. Waiting for response.
